Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes. Classes take place in the evenings.
Ideal: Honours degree in Marketing Management/Brand Management/ Strategic Marketing/ - with Management in 1st to 3rd year of undergrad qualification, and financial management or accounting in 1st to 3rd year of undergrad qualification.
Alternatively: Honours degree in Financial Management/Economics with Brand Management or Marketing Management in 1st - 3rd Year of undergrad degree.
Industry experience in Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Brand Evaluation and Marketing Strategy.
Lecturing experience in financial management or risk management and can apply their lecturing to a marketing or brand management environment.
Work experience as a financial manager or risk manager (within a marketing organisation preferred).
Work experience doing brand equity evaluation (qualitative and qualitative metrics).
Key Performance Area:
Deliver the module in such a manner as to achieve the stated subject outcomes within the assigned contact hours.
The assessment of student work within the stipulated marking and moderation cycle and provide constructive feedback to students and reporting any students concerns to the Student Relations Co-ordinator.
Class preparation and development of lesson plans in a constructivist learning approach.
Proactively participates in Vega events, such as Open Days, Graduation and others.
Arrange for the appropriate guest lecturer to support application to the world of work.
Operate in line with The Independent Institute of Education's (The IIE) policies.
Preferably equity candidate.
