Job Purpose:

Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes. Classes take place in the evenings.


Masters/Honours dissertation/ research based on sustainability. MBA or MCom:
Creative Brand Leadership (2017)
Marketing Management
Marketing Management Science
Strategic Management
Corporate Social Responsibility
Social Responsibility and Sustainability

BA Honours in:
Brand Leadership
Strategic Brand Communication
Sustainability Management
BCom Honours in:
Brand Strategy and Management Specialising in Marketing Communication
Specialising in Strategic Management
Specialising in Marketing Management
In Marketing Management Science
Brand related field to be considered.

(BA HBL, BA HSB, BCom HBSM, BCom Hons MKT, M CBL (2017), MCom MKT or similar).

Work Experience:

Industry experience in sustainable business practice / CSR essential.

Note that there isn€™t a degree that specialises in this and it will largely be based on experience or dissertation.

Key Performance Area:

Deliver the module in such a manner as to achieve the stated subject outcomes within the assigned contact hours.

The assessment of student work within the stipulated marking and moderation cycle and provide constructive feedback to students and reporting any students concerns to the Student Relations Co-ordinator.

Class preparation and development of lesson plans in a constructivist learning approach.

Proactively participates in Vega events, such as Open Days, Graduation and others.

Arrange for the appropriate guest lecturer to support application to the world of work.

Operate in line with The Independent Institute of Education's (The IIE) policies.
