Job Purpose:

Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes. Classes take place in the evenings.


A Bachelor degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science/ IT Management

A Bachelor degree with a similarly related field to the third year level 

Work Experience:

Lecturing experience in Information Management Systems/ Information Systems
Work experience In an IT environment/web environment.

Technical Waiver:
This is entirely focused on the skills required to use the internet €“ a lecturer should be an experienced internet citizen

Key Performance Area:

Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide; Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable; Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback; Marking assessments and providing feedback; Presenting class marks and feedback to the Programme Managers; Actively engaging with current trends in teaching an learning strategies within The IIE VEGA environment.
