Job Purpose:

Lecturing and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes


The lecturer will need to be a practising photographer in the industry with a Post Graduate Degree or Honours Degree.
The position requires a person with a one up specifically in photography, unless the person is an established practising photographer in the industry.

Work Experience:

Freelance photographer, studio work, commercial and especially studio lighting and strobism experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years€™ work experience in Photography.
A portfolio that showcases a variety of photography related genres and techniques.
Ideally the candidate should have a professional website that showcases a portfolio of recent work.

Key Performance Area:

Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide; Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable; Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback; Marking assessments and providing feedback; Presenting class marks and feedback to the Programme Managers; Actively engaging with current trends in teaching an learning strategies within The IIE VEGA environment.
