Job Purpose:

Lecturing for 3rd year students into the module of an awareness of the organisation's interaction with the external environment and in which the overall assessment of an organisation's performance and potential exists; it is the study of a complex and intertwined layering of factors that contribute to successful organisations; how it interacts with its external environment as well as its internal processes. Including lecture planning, prep and marking of assignments and examinations.

Education:

Ideal: 
Honours in Organisational Psychology/Industrial Psychology & with Organisational Psychology/Industrial Psychology 1st to 3rd year in undergrad.

Alternatively:
Honours in one of the Business related fields (e.g. entrepreneurship, supply chain or project management) €“ with undergrad degree with Organisational Psychology/Industrial Psychology 1st - 3rd yr. OR degree with Organisational Psychology/Industrial Psychology or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, business or business management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Work Experience:

Lecturing experience in organisational psychology/industrial psychology/HR and can apply their lecturing to a marketing or brand management environment.

Has some exposure to Brand Challenge.

Work experience as an organisational psychology/industrial psychology/HR (within an agency or corporate marketing environment).

Key Performance Area:

Deliver the module in such a manner as to achieve the stated subject outcomes within the assigned contact hours.

The assessment of student work within the stipulated marking and moderation cycle and provide constructive feedback to students and reporting any students concerns to the Student Relations Co-ordinator.

Class preparation and development of lesson plans in a constructivist learning approach.

Proactively participates in Vega events, such as Open Days, Graduation and others.

Arrange for the appropriate guest lecturer to support application to the world of work.

Operate in line with The Independent Institute of Education's (The IIE) policies.
